Avery Dennison Smartrac is pleased to introduce a new design to its expansive portfolio of high performing, RFID UHF inlays to satisfy a growing number of apparel and other retail applications. 

AD-400 U9 is a simple, square design, roughly 1 in (26 x 26mm) in size when converted to a standard wet inlay or pressure sensitive label format. The inlay is equipped with NXP’s UCODE 9 IC which offers 96-bits of EPC memory and other features such as Self Adjust, Memory Safeguard, Dynamic BS, and Pre-serialized EPC. 

The globally tuned design is an excellent choice when tagging a variety of materials and surfaces, with the capability of achieving and average of 3-6 meters read distance in both FCC and ETSI frequency bands. The tag performs best on low dielectric materials such as cardstock and corrugate, however, 1-2 read distance is also attainable on plastics and denim.

Delivery formats include dry, wet and paper inlay.
